Ingredients:  
2 cups sugar
cup milk
1 T white syrup
1 lb dates (chopped)
2 cups pecans (chopped)
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Boil milk, sugar and syrup until soft ball stage. Add dates and cook until dates are dissolved. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and nuts. Beat until stiff. Roll in damp cloth and let set overnight. Next day slice and serve.
