cup white corn syrup
cup water
cup brown sugar
1 cups sugar
pinch of salt
2 cups pecans
3 T margarine
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 5 ingredients in heavy pan. Cook until it reaches 240 on candy thermometer or hard ball stage. Remove from heat and add pecans, margarine and vanilla. Beat vigorously by hand about 1 minute until it thickens and loses its gloss. Drop by spoonfuls onto foil or waxed paper.
