1-1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Crisco

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together; beat egg until foamy and add sugar and shortening. Then add dry ingredients, mix well. Roll dough into small balls. Flatten with fork making criss-cross marks (use slightly greased cookie sheets); Bake at 375 about 10 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
