2 eggs
1 c. sugar
4 T. butter
1 c. milk
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4. tsp. salt
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 cup flour, slightly beaten eggs in a mixing bowl, add sugar and mix completely. Melt margarine and add to mixture, beat, add milk, sift and mix remaining dry ingredients. Roll out dough and cut %- thick and deep fry in hot Crisco until golden brown. Place on paper towels.

Doughnut Icing

Mix 1 cup powdered sugar and enough milk to make a thin icing with 1 teaspoonful of vanilla in a bowl. Dip doughnuts in icing or just roll doughnuts in powdered sugar.
