1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 c. Hershey's chocolate syrup
3/4 c. chopped nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.

Combine flour and baking soda. Alternating, add flour mixture and chocolate syrup to creamed mixture.

Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 9 pan. Bake at 350 for approx. 4- 45 minutes.
