1 medium cabbage, chopped and cooked
1/2 C finely chopped onion
3 T butter or margarine
3 T flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 C milk
Grated cheddar cheese (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Chop cabbage coarsely. Boil in salted water with onion until tender crisp. Drain. Put in 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Melt butter in medium saucepan. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk, cook, stirring until sauce boils. Pour over cabbage and onion. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake uncovered @ 350 for 20-30 minutes.
