4 slices bacon, chopped
1 lg. onion, chopped (1 cup)
3 medium potatoes, diced (2 cups)
2 1/2 C water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cans whole kernel corn
1 can evaporated milk (12 ox.)
1/4 C flour
Dash paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon until crisp in large saucepan. Add onion and sauté. Add potatoes, 2 C water, salt, pepper, and cover. Simmer 15 minutes until potatoes are tender. Stir in corn with liquid and evaporated milk; heat to bubbling. Blend flour with remaining 1/2 C water, stir into chowder. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick. (3 minutes).
