"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

1 loaf Italian bread 1/2 lb. fresh mozzarella 2 large eggs bread crumb flour oil for frying
Cut the bread into 8 slices and remove crust if it's too hard. Make sandwiches with mozzarella slices. Dredge the sandwiches in flour. In a bowl beat eggs and dip the sandwiches coating both sides. Then coat with breadcrumbs. Deep fry until golden brown and puffy. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
For Margaret Anne Jones, my cousin. My Aunt Margaret was 14 when I was born, and I was 14 when Margaret Anne was born. We're very close, and I feel more like the middle sister than the niece and cousin. Margaret Anne knows her way well around the kitchen, of course she has a great mom to teach her. Forget Mozzarella sticks, this is the real thing.
