2 1/4 C flour
1 C sugar
1/2 C softened butter
1/2 C light molasses
1/4 C milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
Sugar for rolling

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixer bowl, combine flour, 1 cup sugar, butter, molasses, milk, egg, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon and salt. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed, 2-3 minutes. Cover; refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours. Heat oven to 350. Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until slightly firm to the touch. Remove immediately.
