1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. Italian sausage
1 15 oz. marinara sauce
1 c. sliced mushrooms (optional)
1 14 1/2 oz. diced tamatoes with Italian seasonings, undrained
1 9oz. pkg. refrigerated cheese tortillini
1 c. shredded mozzarella

Break beef and sausage into large pieces in a skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the meat is brown.

Mix beef mixture, marinara sauce, mushrooms and tomatoes in slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low heat setting 7 - 8 hrs. Stir in tortellini, sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook on low heat about 15 minutes longer or until the tortellini is tender.

This is great for groups and can be easily doubled if you have a large slow cooker. The beef and sausage are very tender when cooked in the tomatoe sauce all day.
