3/4 c. chopped onions
2/3 c. butter
3/4 tsp dill seed
1 tsp dill weed
1 tsp oregano
1/4 c. flour
3-4 cups canned tomatoes, chopped
3 c. chicken stock
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1/4 c. honey
1 c. cream
1/2 c. half and half

Saute onions in oil or butter with dill and oregano. Add flour and stir to make a roux. Stir in warm stock - then it won't get lumpy as you add it slowly. Then add tomatoes, salt and pepper. Simmer 15 minutes. Add parsley, honey, and your choice of dairy product. Heat, do not boil.
