2 cups water
2 - 14 1/2 ounce can Cajun-style stewed tomatoes
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp. cajun seasoning
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 onion, sliced
1/3 cup uncooked rice
1 - 10oz. pkg. frozen cut okra, thawed
2 - 15oz. cans black-eyed peas, drained
1/4 lb. medium-fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined, or frozen shrimp, thawed.

In a 6-quart Dutch oven, combine water, tomatoes, hot pepper sauce, garlic and onion. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in rice and okra; simmer covered an additional 15 minutes Add shrimp and peas; cook until heated through.
