Pour 3 TBSP or 1/2 bottle root beer extract over 2 cups sugar and add enough water to dissolve (1/2 cup) 1 tsp yeast and 1/2 cup warm water. Add to sugar mixture. Pour in a gallon jar and fill to top with luke warm water. Let set at least 6 hours without caps on.
Tighten lid and refrigerate. This is ready to drink after 24 hours.
