4 medium redskin potatoes, sliced
4 medium yellow onions, diced
1/4 lb./1/2 stick butter
1 cup water
1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In electric skillet or in iron skillet over an open fire, bring water to boil add potatoes, onions, butter, salt and pepper. Cover and stir occasionally at about 300 for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are golden brown and onions are transparent. Serve hot and salt to taste.
