1 c. apple cider
1 c. dry white wine or 1/2 c. more cider and 1/2 c. more water
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
dash ground cloves
dash ground allspice
3 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and quartered
3 Braeburns, peeled, cored and quartered
1 (3") cinnamon stick
1/2 c. half 'n half

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Combine cider, wine, sugar, water, cloves, allspice, apples and cinnamon stick in a large Dutch oven. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer uncovered 30 minutes or until apples are tender. Remove cinnamon stick and discard. Puree half of mixture and let stand 5 minutes. Pour into large bowl. Repeat with remaining mixture. Place all of pureed mixture in pan and stir in half 'n half. Cook over low heat 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
