1/2 lb. bacon slices
3 lb. ground beef
3 cups onion, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
2 beef bouillon cubes
2/3 cup boiling water
1 1/2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups catsup
3 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 29-oz cans molasses-style baked beans

Directions:

Fry bacon until crisp; set aside. Brown ground beef, onion and celery until meat is brown and onion is tender. Pour off fat. Pour entire mixture into crockpot.

Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water, stir that and all other ingredients into crockpot. Cook on low all day while you cavort around the mall, quilt, scrapbook, run errands, or clean house. Come home to a lovely barbequeish smell; accompany this with some homemade rolls, salad, and a western movie. YEEHAW!
