1 tsp. olive oil
2 cups of chopped onion
2 cups of chopped carrot
2 cups finely chopped celery
˝ Tbsp. minced garlic
2 cups dried split peas
8 cups of fat free chicken or vegetable broth
1 ˝ tsp. Mrs. dash
1 tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Spray pan with non stick spray and Heat on medium low
heat until spray turns slightly brown.
Add olive oil & turn pot to spread evenly.
Add the onion, carrots, celery & garlic. Sauté until the onion
is translucent. Then add the rest of the ingredients, cover
& bring to a boil. .reduce heat and
simmer for 2 hours stirring frequently. Allow to cool slightly
and blend in batches and heat to serve.
