11/2 cups chopped dates
2 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup chopped nuts
one bag coconut

Directions:
Directions:
In heavy skillet over medium heat cook dates, sugar and eggs for 10 minutes. Stir constantly as it thickens. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies, vanilla and nuts. Line shallow pan with coconut. Spread cookie mixture in pan and top with coconut. Cut into 1 squares while warm and form into balls. Roll in coconut or finely chopped nuts. Let cool on waxed paper. Stores well in fridge or freezer.
