"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

1-¾ cups flour ½ cup sugar 1 tsp. soda ½ cup brown sugar ½ tsp. salt 1 egg ½ cup butter 1 tsp. vanilla 2/3 cup peanut butter 1 bag chocolate stars or kisses
Shape dough into balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes, then remove from oven and top each cookie with a milk chocolate candy kiss, pressing down firmly so cookie cracks around the edge. Return to oven and bake 2-5 minutes longer until golden brown.
