Ham, ham bone, any variety or version of ham that you prefer
Peeled and quartered potatoes
Peeled and quartered rutabaga
Onions
1 whole cabbage
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1 large pot.
All ingredients are to taste and desired amount depending on how many people you are feeding and your likes.
Place all ingredients into pot except for the cabbage and cover with water. Boil until potatoes, rutabaga and onion are tender when poked with a fork.
Place cabbage on top of pot, cover, and continue to simmer until cabbage is tender.
Delicious served over bread and butter pouring the juice from the pot over all.
