1/2 head of cabbage, shredded (you can mix green and red cabbage)
6 green onions, chopped
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1/3 c. salad oil
3 T. vinegar
2 T. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. Ramen soup mix
2 T. sesame seeds
1/2 c. sliced almonds, toasted

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix cabbage with the next 6 ingredients (including the flavor packet in the soup mix). Cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours. T wo hours before serving, break up the ramen noodles and add the cabbage mixture. Just before serving mix in the sesame seeds and toasted almonds.
