6 eggs
1/2 c. canola oil
1 stick butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 T. anisette flavoring
4 c. flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Glaze:
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. anisette flavoring
2 T. milk
1/2 tsp. butter melted
Non-pareil sprinkles

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl beat 6 eggs until foamy, add oil, butter, sugar and anisette. In another bowl, combine flour, and baking powder. Combine the flour mixture into the the egg mixture. Make 4 fat loaves on 2 cookie sheets, forming by hand. Bake at 375 for 20-25 min. Make the glaze combining all it's ingredients and brush onto cooked loaves. Sprinkle non-pareils on top and let cool. Cut into biscotti cookie slices.

This is a great coffee or tea dunking cookie. For a hard biscotti, after the loaves come out of the oven, slice and then re bake until toasty. Then apply glaze and let cool. The soft version in the recipe above is mom's signature Christmas cookie.
