6 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. rice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg beaten
raisins and coconut optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 5 c. milk, sugar and salt in a pot and bring to a slow boil, don't boil over. Add rice let cook on low for 1 hour or until done. Add 1 c. milk and beaten egg together in a bowl then add to rice, with coconut and raisins, and let it come to a slow boil for 3 min. Take off the heat and add vanilla. Cool and sprinkle with cinnamon.

If you really like coconut, substitute the last cup of milk with coconut milk. Yum!
