Cooked spaghetti
3 cloves garlic mashed
3/4 c. olive oil
parsley
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a pan with oil saute garlic until light gold on med heat, season with salt and pepper. Toss the mixture with the spaghetti and 2 T of pasta water in a bowl and add fresh chopped parsley. Serve immediately.

This was Grandpa's favorite. Actually, he had many favorites, but this one stands out in my mind. If a restaurant didn't have it on the menu, he would tell the chef how to make it. Of course Grandpa would have sprinkled some black pepper on top but please no cheese on this recipe. Mangia, mangia!
