1 9" pie crust 1 tsp cinnamon 1 1/2 tbsp butter 6-7 tart apples (cored an sliced about 1/4" thick) 3/4 to 1 c sugar (a pie can never be too sweet - if you are not sure how much sugar to add, err on the side of too much)
Mix sugar and cinnamon. Mix lightly through apples. Pile up into bottom of pastry crust. Dot with butter. Cover with top crust, sprinkle with sugar(to brown) seal crust. Bake @ 450º for 50 to 60 minutes.
