4 c. apples, coarsely chopped
2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine apples and sugar; let stand. Beat eggs slightly, then beat in the oil and vanilla. Mix and sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in alternately with apple mixture. Stir in walnuts. Bake in a 13 X 9 X 2-inch pan at 350 for about an hour. Let the cake cool in the pan.
