8 oz. Penne 1 t. butter 2/3 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic minced 1 c. homemade tomato sauce 4 tsp. flour 1 T. water 3/4 c. half and half 1/2 c. 2% milk 1/3 c. vodka 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes 1/2 c. chopped basil
Cook pasta. Melt butter in a saucepan, add onion and garlic 3 min. Add tomato sauce simmer 8 min. Combine flour, and water whisking smooth. Add to tomato sauce 1 min. Add half and half, milk, vodka, salt and pepper. Boil , then simmer and add cheese 3 min. Toss with pasta and sprinkle with basil.
