Easy Vodka Sauce Recipe

1/2 C butter
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic
1 T sugar
1 cup vodka
2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes
1 pint heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon dried basil

In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onion, garlic and pancetta
until slightly brown and soft. Pour vodka in and let cook for 10
minutes. Mix in crushed tomatoes and cook for 30 minutes. Pour
in heavy cream and cook for another 30 minutes.

Serve over al dente penne.
