3 eggs
1 c. oleo/butter
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
1 tsp. anise or vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter, eggs, and sugar together. Add everything else except the flour and mix well. Gradually add the flour until combined. Roll a small amount of dough, about 1/4-inch thick but no thicker, on a floured surface. Cut out and put on and ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
