2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1/2 t baking soda
1 3/4 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. light-brown sugar
1 t salt
2 t vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 c. semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk together flour and baking soda, set aside. Combine butter with both sugars and beat on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add salt, vanilla, and eggs. Beat on low speed until well mixed. Add flour mixture and mix until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Bake on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

This is the ONLY chocolate chip cookie recipe I've ever tried where the cookies don't go totally flat in the oven. These cookies come out really nice and chunky, plus they stay soft and taste great. But don't substitute margarine for real butter, it doesn't
work as well. Also, the parchment paper REALLY helps.
