3 c water
1 c olive oil
3 garlic cloves,squeezed thru garlic press
3 t basil
2 t parsley
1/4 t oregano
1 t salt
1/4 t pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients together & simmer for 1/2 hour or more. Serve with any long pasta and pour over as much as needed. Serve with pecorino romano or any Italian hard cheese of your preference.

Clam Sauce: Same as above, just add 4-6 cans of minced clams (8-10 oz), crushed red pepper to taste and then simmer.

This is a very quick & delicious recipe. The smell of garlic......a most definite memory in the Corvelli household also Homer says this is the first meal Mary Grace served him with pasta and a salad.
