1/2 cup oleo or butter
1/2 cup shortening
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream oleo and shortening well, add sugar and cream thoroughly. Mix in water and vanilla, then flour and nuts. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Form dough in long rolls, 1/2 inch across (on waxed paper) Cut into 3 inch lenghts and shape into cresents. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow 325 oven for 15 minutes. DO NOT BROWN. Remove from pan and cool slightly, dip into powdered sugar
