1 c. sliced red onion
mixed greens
2/3 c. vanilla pear vinaigrette (see recipe)
1/4 c. chopped walnuts toasted

Vinaigrette
1 15oz. can pear halves with juice
1/3 c. white wine vinegar
1 T. honey
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Dash of red pepper flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pears and reserve 1/3 c pear juice. Combine pears, juice, vinegar and remaining ingredients. In a blender process until smooth.

Toss salad with dressing, sprinkle with walnuts.
