1 1/2 C shortening
2 C white surgar
1/2 C molasses
2 eggs

4 C flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
2 tsp ginger
4 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first 4 ingredients well. Then add remaining ingredients. Roll into balls and roll in sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Freezes well.
