3-4 C. fresh Garden Lettuce, torn
4- strips bacon
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 C. bacon grease
Radishes ( optional )
2-3 T. cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Wash lettuce real well. Chop to the desired size, set aside. Fry bacon, remove from hot grease and crumble over lettuce. Add the chopped radishes if desired. In the skillett, add the vinegar and salt to the grease stir well, Add corn meal, heat until grease is very hot and corn meal is browned, ( be careful this will burn if you don't watch it. ) Pour immediately over the lettuce, stir and toss; serve hot.
