Shell corn and soak overnight with water and lye. Cook 30 minutes. Rinse well. Soak in enough water to cover corn, about 2 inches for 1 hour. Wash well again, then cook in enough water to cover for 30 minutes. Fill jars 1/2 full. Fill remainder of jar with water. Pressure 30 minutes at 10 lbs. pressure. Makes 10 pints
