I make this for New Years morning breakfast also.
6 slices of white bread crust removed
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 c. shredded longhorn cheese
5 eggs beaten well
2 c. half and half
1 lb. sausage
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard

Cook sausage well and drain. Melt butter in 9x13 glass casserole dish. Tear bread in small pieces and sprinkle over butter. Sprinkle drained sausage over bread crumbs. Sprinkle cheese over sausage. Beat eggs and
other ingredients, pour over mixture. Chilll 8 hrs. or overnight.
Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes.
