"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous
I make this for New Years morning. 8 Slices of white thick bread (crustless and cubed) 2 (8 oz.) cream cheese cubed 1 dozen eggs (or 3 cartons of egg beaters) 2 c. milk 1/3 c. maple syrup
Place half of cubed bread in 9x13 casserole dish. Put cubed cream cheese on top of bread, then the rest of the bread. Whip eggs, milk, and syrup together. Pour mixture over bread. Cover with plastic wrap and refridgerate over night. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes and serve with extra syrup.
