11/2 pound ground chuck
1/2 cup long grain wild rice, uncooked
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
2 eggs mixed with 2 tablespoon whole milk
four chopped fresh tomatoes or (1 can diced tomatoes)
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon thyme (optional)
8 to 10 green peppers seeded and steamed
I can tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
saute onions and green pepper in 2tbsp.ollive oil until tender. peel and dice tomatoes, or drain canned tomatoes,add to onions and peppers remove from heat
combine ground chuck, rice salt, pepper and thyme, and eggs... add cooled onion, pepper and tomatoes. mix well..
steam green peppers for 5 to 10 minute.cool.... stuff each pepper leaving a little room at the top..
place in deep baking dish or casserole add juice from tomatoes, and cover peppers with tomato sauce bake 350 degrees for 1 - 1/2 hours...
