4 c. scalded milk
1 tbsp salt
1 c. crisco
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. warm water 3 tbsp yeast or 3 pkgs.
5 lbs of flour

Directions:
Directions:
Milk mixture-- Microwave milk for 6 minutes on high stirring every 2 minutes. Add salt and crisco, stir until completely disolved.

Yeast mixture-- Combine yeast, warm water and 1/2 cup of sugar in glass bowl until disolved.

In a mixer combine 4 eggs and 1 c.sugar thoroughly, then start adding yeast mixture, milk mixture and 5 lbs of flour alternating. (Do not add milk mixture first it will cook the eggs) Continue until all ingredients are gone.

Remove dough to the largest bowl you have, and sprinkle with flour until dough doesn't stick to your hands. Oil around the sides of bowl and cover with saran wrap and towel and let double in size.

Dip fingers in oil and knead dough into palm size buns and place on oiled cookie sheet for 13 minutes at 350

This recipe has been passed down 5 generations.
My boys, Halen and Hayden named them "Nenaw Buns"because their Nenaw, Dianne George made them. She made them with her mom, Lillian Swenson, who made them with her mom, Nenaw's Grandma Sorum. Thus making it five generations. My boys, Halen and Hayden, My husband, Curtis George, Nenaw, Grandma Swenson, and Grandma Sorum
