1 cup shortening
1 3/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups self-rising flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream together shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add milk and vanilla; beat well. Stir in flour; mix well. Drop by tablespoonful 2 1/2 in apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350F for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen.
