1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
40 caramels, quartered
9 cups baking apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup orange juice.

TOPPING:
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3 tbsp butter
2/3 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; add caramels and stir.

In a separate bowl, toss apples and orange juice. Stir in caramel mixtureand spread into a greased 13 X 9 inch baking pan.

ADD TOPPING:

Combine sugar and flour in a small bowl; cut in butter until crumbly. Add oats and walnuts; sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
