1 pkg. Caramels
2 tbsp. Water
4 Popsicle Sticks
4 Large Apples
2 c. Chopped Pecans or Peanuts
1 c. Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1 tsp. Shortening
1 c. Toffee Bits

Directions:
Directions:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramels & water. Microwave, uncovered, on high for about a minute; stir. Microwave 30 ~ 45 seconds longer or until caramels are melted. Insert popsicle sticks into apples; dip apples into caramel mixture, turning to coat. Coat with nuts and set aside on wax paper to cool.

Melt chocolate chips & shortening; drizzle over apples. Sprinkle with toffee bits and set back on wax paper to cool. Cut into wedges to serve.
