1/ C water
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1 C whipping cream do not whip
1 C sour cream
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Blend together sugar and gelatin in a small pan. Add water and mix well. Let stand 5 minutes. Then bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add cream. In a separate bowl, mix sour cream with vanilla. Gradually add the hot sugar mixture and beat smoothly. Pour into a pretty serving bowl or make individual servings, about cup in size, in small bowls or wine or martini glasses. Chill until set at least 4 hours.
Accompany with strawberries, blueberries or raspberries. I use frozen berries, thawed and sprinkled with sugar. Spoon berries on top of the Russian Cream desert.
