1 fresh pineapple
1/2 cup rum (or water)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tbs. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Peel pineapple. Cut out center core and discard. Slice pineapple into approximately 8 rings and place in a shallow glass dish or zip lock bag. Mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves. Pour over pineapple, cover and refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight. Preheat grill for high heat (or oven). Lightly oil grill gate (or broiler). Grill for 15 minutes, turning once, or until outside is dry and char marked. Serve with any remaining marinade.
