1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/3 cup honey, warmed
2 1/2 cupps all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
1/2 tsp salt
Sifted confectioner's sugar for rolling

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and honey at medium speed with electric mixer until creamy. In medium bowl, combine flour, pecans, and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating to mix well. Cover and chill 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 300. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Roll dough into 1-in balls. Place 1 inch apart. Bake 30 min until set but not browned. Let cool 5 min. Roll in confectioner's sugar. After cookies have cooled completely, roll in sugar again.

These are like Wedding Cookies...the kind Bon Bon used to buy at the grocery store, unwrap, package into a tin, and mail to my brother Kenneth when he was in the service, passing them off as homemade. He's a fine boy.
