2 1/4 c. flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c. shortening (butter)
1 egg slightly beaten
2/3 c. milk (or cream)
melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, egg and salt. Add milk. Add remaining ingredients and mix until just mixed. Press into greased pan. Brush with melted butter. Bake at 425F for 15 minutes, or at 350F for 20 minutes.

I like 350 degrees F for 20 minutes best.
