1 cup flour
1/4 lb butter
3 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg slighly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 T melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Crust: Blend flour, butter, and cream cheese. Mix together and roll into 24 balls. Place each ball in a mini tart tin. Push out to make little cups.

Filling: Mix remaining ingredients together and add a teaspoon of filling to each of the cups.

Bake for 25 minutes at 325.

My mom and I make these tarts for our family for Thanksgiving and for the many PTA events my mom is involved with.
Edith's notes: Chris Warner met his girlfriend, Natalie, in Spain, during "spring semester abroad 2005" as students of the University of Hawaii. Natalie is now a senior at Northern Arizona State University majoring in journalism and political science. She and her family live in Orange County, CA.
