7 c sliced cucumbers-about1/4"
1 c sliced onions
Green peppers, if desired
1 T canning salt
1 c white vinegar
2 to 2-1/2 c sugar
1 tsp celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Mix canning salt into sliced cucumbers, onions and green peppers. Let stand in refrigerator one to six hours. Wash with cold water and drain. Mix together white vinegar, sugar and celery seed. Heat just until sugar melts. Pour mixture over cucumbers and keep in refrigerator.
