2 T. butter*
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
3 T. flour
3 T. cocoa
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Slightly burn butter in a saucepan. *No butter substitution. Add milk and cook over medium heat, constantly stirring. Combine dry ingredients in a seperate bowl. Mix well. Slowly add to milk mixture. Use a wire whisk to get rid of any clumps. Continue to stir until sauce thickens. Then add vanilla. Serve hot over ice cream.

This is a great recipe to experiment with. For a creamier sauce, use evaporated milk.
